why aren't liberals calling for a ban on cars?

Simple, they have to drive to work.

Liberals dont work. They sponge

They know that they have to prioritize in their efforts at sabotage. Nearly everyone drives a car or some other vehicle; few own firearms. It's easier to go after the low hanging fruit first while disempowering the individual. Second Amendment now, First Amendment shortly afterwards, attack fossil fuels as the engine of capitalism...quite clever.
