I get the creeps just from looking at it but for some reason I do find it endearing ... in a very, very weird way that I can't even explain, nor want to.

I will be honest for a moment, if my child one day comes up to me and says "Mommy?"

in this very serious tone and I look at him/her and nod and say "yes sweetheart?"


If then the answer comes "I want to grow a roach farm."

My reaction would be..... (-_-') : "Why?"


Child: "Because they are really cool!"


Me, after long deliberation will eventually say: "Fine darling but keep them in your room"

and what I'm not saying: "Because if any of those fuckers gets out they will end up between the floor and my foot and you will never know, I will tell you that the cockroach santa has decided they were chosen to serve santa on the north pole."

She will probably develop some auto immune disease and die before she reaches 16.

Once, I was sitting on a step outside late at night, it was a pretty hot summer night in New Orleans. I noticed a rather large cockroach in the distance, sitting on top of a concrete wall. The roach was probably about 12 or 15 feet away. I held out my arm and pointed my index finger at the roach and thought of a name, a special name that I felt night compel that roach in some way... I shit you not, but immediately after I thought that, that fucking roach flew to me and landed on my outstretched finger. It stayed there for a few moments and flew away. I went inside and washed my hands.

If they roaches do not already have the diseases, and are not exposed to the diseases, they will not spontaneously start carrying diseases. If the conditions are sufficient, they will remain disease free.

If they can wander everywhere, well they'll catch the diseases. The community is sufficiently large that they're probably wandering all over the home.... Ew...

i had some of those for awhile and they had babies and the babies escaped and id find them crawling in my room, then id drop them into the lizard cage and the lizards would chomp them right up cuz their exoskeleton was nice and soft
