Surf the internet, my website, earn from home/computer programs, forums, youtube and other videos In that case (and thinking youre not actually in india) id go for a normal random computer. i wouldnt even go for dell/hp. but if computers seem like a hard thing for you, you might aswell. intel Pentium 7 or core i5 processor 4 GB or 8 GB RAM 320 GB hard disk 19 inch LCD monitor intel motherboard speaker with sound card anything else ? i5 is more than enough for you. id get 8 gig Ram hard disks.. 320 isnt much these days tbh. i mean downloading a blueray movie is like atleast 10gig. personal photos on your phone might be 10 mb per picture and you might have 1000s. so id just go for a 256 gig SSD. makes your computer start up really fast and everything work very fast. and if you are going to download and/or store stuff get an extra harddisc. (sata) those are cheap. so you can get 1TB and if your OS breaks and you have to do a fresh instal.. all your document will be saved on your second disc. Obviously atleast 19 inch monitor. 21/22 inch is better (and cost hardly much second hand if money is the issue) obviously Intel. soundcard are built in man. this isnt 1998. sound/video/lan is all standard on motherboards. even HDMI mostly. so you can connect a tv to your computer. sooo: i5-4460 (or better) 8 GB ram (more isnt needed, less wouldnt be a good chouice) Win 8 or 10 (i prefer 8 personaly but youd be better off using the latest version) 256 GB ssd for your Windows and all your programs. speakers 21 inch monitor, widescreen (or bigger) possible extras normal harddisc for long term storage. dont get a laptop tho. this computer you could upgrade in a few years if you felt like it. by upgrading you save alot of money because all you have to change is motherboard en processor. you can keep everything else. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 71952359 United States 03/23/2017 10:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | build it yourself, you dont want all the damn bloatware and shitty parts that Dell and HP throw into your machine. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26853195 Building your own CAN save you money... but it's not for everyone. Honestly, unless you have a specific goal in mind such as gaming, video editing etc... just pick up a core i5 with at least 8gig of ram and you'll be fine. Oh, and I haven't seen a computer in the last 15 years that DIDNT come with a sound card lol. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 73765605 Canada 03/23/2017 10:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 1) Brand new Dell or HP computer Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74536766 or 2) Refurbished/used computer which are renewed in the factory by replacing damaged/old parts. I am thinking of: intel Pentium 7 or core i5 processor 4 GB or 8 GB RAM 320 GB hard disk 19 inch LCD monitor intel motherboard speaker with sound card anything else ? Wow, all but the CPU is obsolete. Do not think they sell 320GB HD's anymore and you need min 8Gb to run Win 10, 19" monitor is hard to find, sound cards are not needed made into motherboard that supports your i5 or i7 cpu. Try your local flee market in your area. |

For gaming, depends on how hardcore. for $250 you can buy a gtx 1060 which will run battlefield on medium settings, if you want to run it on high, you'd need something like gtx 1080 or titan x if you wanna go all out. 16 gb of ram is plenty in today's age, but you can go with 32gb, like i did, for extra overkill. make sure you get a good enough power supply unit to drive your video card. you need a 500watt for the gtx 1060. i just sold my gtx 1060 for 220$ on ebay, going to upgrade |
