Chakra? It's an immaterial "portal" connecting your physical body to your astral/soul "body"

They are located at several specific points such as your heart, third eye, etc.

Yes they are absolutely real. I myself am capable of waking up and performing them and their interaction with the spiritual world.

Some scary shit goes on...

If you're alseep like almost everyone is, you cant perforce them consciously, not directly. Few can, and most that say they do are lying.

Only God or Satan can give you that ability.

I did not ask how chakras make me feel, or what they do.

I asked a specific question.

What does the Sanskrit word 'Chakra' mean?

I did not ask for doctoral dissertation from Madam Blavatsky.

None of you have the inner meaning.

You all have the outer profane meaning.

If you knew the meaning of Chakra, you could describe it with one corret English word.

Your classes are stupid.

Your are still defining the word by profane, outer definitions.

Your are skirting around the perimeter, but not getting to the central point.

And without the central truth, the chakra is just an empty void.

Do you not understand that the word is the activator?

Did you think it came by crossing your legs and humming different postures?

Chinese word.

If you actually experienced the Chakras, you would immediately be able to define them with one correct English word.

To all the rest, the chakras are indeed just black hole votices.

If you actually experienced chakras, you would know that NO word in the English language can define them.

Spiritual things can't be defined in words. Words are only good for describing worldly concepts. Chakras can only be described in crappy metaphors.

Like "energy"...

Re: What does the word 'Ckakra' mean?
A Chakram is an Indian throwing disc weapon. It is from the same root as Chakra.

However, if I told you that in ancient Sanskit, the word Chakra signified the whirling circles of stars, you probably would not understand.

However, if you look into the etymology of our English word 'Star', you will find that it means the precise same thing as 'Chakra'.

Old English steorra "star," from Proto-Germanic *sterron, *sternon (source also of Old Saxon sterro, Old Frisian stera, Dutch ster, Old High German sterro, German Stern, Old Norse stjarna, Swedish stjerna, Danish stierne, Gothic stairno).

This is from PIE root *ster- (2) "star" (source also of Sanskrit star-, Hittite shittar, Greek aster, astron, Latin stella, Breton sterenn, Welsh seren "star"), of uncertain connection to other roots. Some suggest it is from a root meaning "to strew, scatter."

The root meaning of 'Star' is to 'whirl'. And why is it that when you see the word 'Chakra' and even see it defined as 'whirling', you never connect it with the word 'Star', which is its actual intended denotation?

You are not supposed to have 7 voids, but 7 stars.

Re: What does the word 'Ckakra' mean?
You talk to me about rectifying the Kundalini serpent. And yet you do not even know that you have seven magnetic stars within you that form the pathway for the rectified staff of Kundalini?

And then you laugh at Moses when you read that he took the serpent by the tail and raised it back into a staff?

You speak to me of the Chakras, and yet you explain them as empty, void whirling wheels.

You speak to me of directing and raising Kundalini with an empty wand?

You keep telling me that you are 'I Am', and yet there is nothingness in your Chakras. Are you not Not-Am?
