So an Afghan muslim girl carries a Greek National Symbol with the Christian Cross in our Day of Independence from the Muslim Ottaman Turks!

They do and very few react. I dont know if they dont care or they are afraid to react.

I have been fortunate enough to grow up amongst Greeks. Good people and they take this day seriously. Oh well, look on the bright side, in a few weeks there will be a big feast and party.

I love Greece. I've traveled a few times to Corfu (incredibly stunning) Pilos, Thessolonaki and of course Athens. I was there for the first time in the late 1990's with my parents and it was.... breathtakingly beautiful! Then I return again in 2008 with my wife and I noticed changes no doubt related to the financial crisis (caused by the EU, EURO and Germany).

I have not been back since but the owner of a Greek restaurant I often eat at told me that Greece is dead as a nation, killed off by the corrupt politicians and the EU. She said Athens is filled with Africans and crime is very high there as they use that as a stopping point before they move to the north.

I hope you get your country back! Destroy the EU!

Sadly this kind of Stockholm syndrome has infected pretty much all Western societies.

Happy independence day Greece. Maybe, someday you (and most other Western nations) will remember what made that special again.

He is out. But after the trials and the jails they dont do much fuss. I would really like to see others than the Xrysi Aygi to talk loud, we need moderate people to revolt, so the others wont be able to call them racists.
