The "supposed drop" due to distance is ((12 x 12 x 8)/12)/0.3048) = 29.3 m If you are suggesting the earth is "much larger" you are going to piss off the globe earthers as they need to go back and rejig the earths "rate of rotation" to make the day length and time zones work and then you will alter the mass of the earth that will cause issues with where the earth should be in the heliocentric system. You will be more of a pariah than a flat earther. |
