I live in a remote village called Chefornak AK. New cellphone tower has elders worried NO animal life sighted within 5miles

We are a simple with people with simple way of life. Recently technical things have started trickling into our village many advances have been made and our living has improved among this is communication our reception has been bad for many years.A major tower company has been asking the elders to put one of these towers here on our land for sometime. For the betterment of our people the elders thought it's finally time to build and become part of a bigger world. With this new tower has come problems for our people. The children no longer care for the old ways now only play games on phones device. The elders have always been scared of technicals and seen them as evil. Anyways today at town meeting they called us to discuss wildlife sightings and the lack of in the past few months. No one has seen anything. Everyone is scared our fishing men have all reported almost no fish in nets or traps. We are thinking about getting the local government involved to figure out what's the cause. The elders believe it's linked with the tower. I do apologise for my English I was homeschool in the village.
