How can some of you men lump every women into one single derogatory category? Is this how you would talk and treat your mother? Things you'd say to your sister, how about your daughters? I see many valid points in your post as I have talked with many angry divorced men who this has sadly happened too :( Unfortunately, there is no way to really tell other then to really truely get to know a woman and I mean really well. Be friends with her for years before jumping into marriage. We are all reaching blind when entering into a relationship long-term, especially marriage, it is a true risk for men I agree.

But isn't everything a risk in life in one form or another? From opening a business, to moving, to starting that brand new job? Isn't that part of the wild adventure of life? If we never risk, we never grow, we never experience anything more. We start to live in a shelled box afraid of being hurt again. This begins to be a sad way to live.

A woman may very well surprise you one of these days if you are open to the risk. Every good man deserves a good woman at his side.
