Some airports allow you to opt out of the scanners.

Another option is to buy a boat if you want more freedom to travel.

All hijackings are stopped by inter government policies/relations not physical security. Physical security is just *entertainment* or *discretionary* needs.

People will survive without one day of TSA or any kind of physical security if the funds go towards policies and random checks.

In fact random security checks would be better as it would throw off also petty crime like stealing and fist fights.
