Except for rescues, what's your favorite dog?

I love my doggie...she's a black german shepherd....she used to pee and poop in my den...but she's so smart now that we've learned her to go outside!!!

We call her Ellie Mae!

My pet ones. Breedwise ,they are english Staffordshires. I have 3. The youngest just turned 13 human years.They run and horseplay like puppies still. Nothing has been stolen from me ,or either neighbour in 16 yrs.

I'm a sucker for German Shepherds.

have had many dogs in this life, some were ding dongs and some were incredible--all loved and still missed.
a person handed me over 2 very young dobies,unneutered males,a red and a black and these were EXCEPTIONAL ANIMALS and i have never had the experience again.
would love to be financially able to get another one and will not trust a rescue as these are powerful and will attempt to dominate etc.
one on their level is too much to put out, those two were bombproof in obedience,respect and highly intelligent,discerning & gentle.

We live very rural. The neighbor of my MIL had an old St. Bernard. He was really old. :(
He was like a small pony.

They got a new puppy and it was worse than a kid that one time that I was there.
