Seems like if drones were flying around the store they'd also have drones flying to and from the store. Why would lazy f***s go to the store when they can sit on their bum and have it delivered?

Maybe this is an attempt to begin phasing into that.

Stupid walmart, this is not what we need. Give me one click order, allow others to sell through your technologies, deliver in one or two days or allow me to drive thru and pick up.

How on earth is a drone going to assist me in my shopping? That's a huge waste of money, and Walmart shareholders (and employees) should be against this. They already installed numerous TV screens all over the store (very large tablets, actually) that basically blare "commercials" about whatever product aisle you are on. It's very annoying.

Do you want to know why Target is so popular? (And don't get me wrong, I love Walmart, too.) Most people don't realize that Target is the ONLY store that doesn't play music or annoying loud-speaker store commercials. You can actually shop there and hear yourself think.

I agree, but it's a huge waste of money. Everything is already tagged with security alarms, and they let it walk out the door (in some locations). A drone isn't going to stop that. Employee eyeballs and security guards at the door are how you stop theft.

Weve come a long way from the days of department store ladies whose job it was to assault other women with spritzes of perfume.

Why don't they just put more registers to use. Nothing worse than to have to wait around to have someone take my money.
