Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1759795 Hong Kong 04/11/2017 10:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Look at it from this angle: Should NK hit anything south or west, it will draw the full wraths of USA SK and Japan, and likely many other world powers, and it will be destroyed. However, hit China, one else gives a shit and are probably happy about it. Think China's traditional rival like Japan, they probably will even be grateful. China has no one coming to their help. Chinese military mights are exaggerated. It only has a huge number of personnels but hardwares? No. And NK knows its a much easier fight. Would China then steamroll into NK, kill everything and occupy it even if it could? America and SK wouldnt allow that, therefore China could only keep the status quo there, that means the PRC probably wouldnt even fight back if attacked and have to come to a compromise with NK..ie more money more food more land etc. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1759795 Make these words. Lol No way would North Korea attack China. 1) North Korea and china are allies. 2) North Korea knows it has no chance of taking on China and winning 3) Go back to 1) |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1759795 Make these words. The posturing you are seeing now is geared toward China to light a fire under their ass signaling that the United States is not fucking around anymore. President Trump is not bluffing and is willing to pull the trigger but not right this minute. Trump has set a hard timeline for all parties involved to adhere to. Expect China to make a move in the next 96 hours whether it be clandestinely to overthrow Kim Dong Un or an overt military action to force Kim to flee. The only other scenario is a consolidated, concerted effort of subterfuge by the Chinese to stall in coordination with Pyongyang to launch a devastating offensive on South Korea and Japan and the United States complete with NUCLEAR WEAPONS. This is the Cuban Missile Crisis 2.0 with Kim set to test another nuke on or around April 15. This will be the final nuke test by North Korea and I believe is the BOTTOM RED LINE China set forth warning Kim not to test another nuke otherwise face military repercussions. 96 hours GLP. 96 |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 74647925 United States 04/12/2017 02:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Day of the Sun (Chosŏn'gŭl: 태양절; MR: T'aeyang-jŏl) is an annual public holiday in North Korea on 15 April, the birth anniversary of Kim Il-sung, founder and president of North Korea.[5] It is the most important national holiday of the country.[6] Kim Il-sung's birthday, which had been an official holiday since 1968, was renamed Day of the Sun in 1997, three years after his death. The name takes its significance from the name of the leader. Il-sung is Korean for "become the Sun". North Koreans commemorate the holiday by visiting locations that have a connection with the life of the leader, such as thousands of statues scattered across the country, or Mangyongdae, his birthplace in the capital Pyongyang. The most important observances take place in the capital, including visits to Kumsusan Palace of the Sun where Kim Il-sung's body lies in rest, and Mansu Hill Grand Monument, which features a very high statue of the leader. The state seeks to provide its citizens with more food and electricity than is normally available, but success is not always guaranteed. Children, in particular, receive candy and other gifts attributed to love shown by the leaders. Festivities are not confined to the date. Commemorations occur since 16 February, which is the birthday of Kim Jong-il, during what is known as the Loyalty Festival. Celebrations in April around the Day of the Sun are called the Sun Festival. The day itself is followed by two days of rest, making it a three-day holiday. |
