The U.S. government is paying more than $4,000 for limos used for Eric Trump's travel to Ireland and Great Britain this week on a trip where the president's son advocated for a Trump golf property.

The president's son, who gets Secret Service protection when he visits Trump properties that are located around the globe, has taken five international trips this year.

The Secret Service, which must position agents in advance and otherwise prepare for the trip, spent $11,261 for hotel costs, purchasing orders obtained byCBS News reveal.

Costs for limousines for his visit totaled $4,030, the records showed.

Purchasing orders reviewed by the network don't include the salaries and other costs like airfare for the agents who protect Trump's children, just the ancillary costs.
