YES! All day. And Easter Sunday usually has very good energy! I feel grieved, and have no idea why, I keep checking the news to see if I've been picking up an imminent event. I've felt absolutely down all day, sad for no reason, despair.

Yes. :( I went with my sister to the vet's today to put down her 18 year old kitty. She had a stroke last night. I've been crying nonstop since last night. I can't believe she's no longer here, that I'll never get to touch her tiny pink lil nose again, hold her tiny little head in my hands, kiss her forehead...

No because this is not the first time things in the world have been cockeyed and crazy.

I have a feeling it is going to get better, but it takes breaking eggs to make a good cake.

Yes, I just saw that, thank you!
(I have been going all round the internet to see if others are picking up an unusual heavy feeling today - yesterday was fine - or trying to see if there's a reason for it, lol. :) I hate it when it's just me, and no one even knows what I'm talking about.

I have that feeling too, as well as recently losing my job and my last grandparent.

What do we look to in times of plenty and joy?

Are we becoming too circumstantial in our outlook?

I hope we are not being subjected to psychological and electronic warfare so we can only blame ourselves.

YES!!! I was finally able to purge that last little bit.
We do not learn from history because our studies are brief and prejudiced. In a surprising manner, 250 years emerges as the average length of national greatness. This average has not varied for 3,000years. The stages of the rise and fall of great nations seem to be:
The Age of Pioneers , The Age of Conquests ,The Age of Commerce ,The Age of Affluence ,The Age of Intellect ,The Age of Decadence.
Decadence is marked by: Defensiveness, Pessimism, Materialism,Frivolity An influx of foreigners The Welfare State A weakening of religion. Decadence is due to: Too long a period of wealth and power, Selfishness Love of money ,The loss of a sense of duty.
The life histories of great states are amazingly similar, and are due to internal factors. Their falls are diverse, because they are largely the result of external causes. - Sir John Glubb The Fate of Empires
We are at the end of the Age of Decadence heading into COLLAPSE
