Even from the time they are neglected and abused as small children by their teachers in school. Attractive people can get away with anything as their character rots, while unattractive people are most likely to be punished for anything, however trivial. They get worse judgments and longer sentences in court. The difference is obvious. Take a look around some day. I do volunteer work at a hot dog stand in a sports stadium, where all you get for hours of frantic effort is a hot dog and some Koolaid, and five minutes to eat it. Almost without exception, the people who labor away to distribute thousands of five dollar hot dogs and thousands of ten dollar beers to sports fans are not attractive. None of the volunteers can understand how so many people can afford to spend so much money for junk food. One such paying visit to any sporting event would wipe out my budget for a week. The people with all those fists full of hundred dollar bills are mostly much more attractive. John Taylor Gatto spoke of hiring criteria for the highly coveted jobs, and admission criteria for the best colleges, which he learned by talking to the people who do the selecting. He said grades and effort counted for almost nothing. All they were concerned with was whether they would want to socialize with that person. It is all, all, all about attractiveness, and I bet they fudge the numbers when they speak of a small percentage of a difference in pay. Attractive people are paid anywhere from twice as much as unattractive people, at the lower levels, to hundreds of times as much as unattractive people. They are also given many more options, more opportunities, and more help. |
