I would guess slavery suppressed blacks for 200 years, creating a large gap in education, hence the low income government housing and crime present day.

Nothing to do with skin color.....but ALL of those cities have something else in common that does contribute to what you are seeing.....do you know what it is?

They are all bastions of LIBERALISM...they have robbed their citizens of all hope and dignity.....Liberalism has created what we are seeing.

It's because racist white people pulled out of those places back in the 70s and before to the suburbs and took all the good jobs with them.

They the corporate white owners purposefully sent the factory jobs oversees which were originally located in the inner cities. They then built an economy around retail and service in the suburbs for them and their children.

The blacks were left with a decaying city, no more jobs, and corrupt police and government. This breeds divorce, drug use, depression, gang activity, and another generation of more of the same.

I'm white, rural, and not racist, but cautious of who I affiliate with and this is clear as a bell to me.

But now, the retail and service empire is collapsing as they start to die off, and America has no clothes on.
