Last year when my daughter was in fifth grade,they took them to the high school, bc 6-12 is in the high school. They got to do a tour of the high school, but to do so, everyone had to have an HPV vaccine. It was snuck into the permission slip to go to the high school. I threw a fit. The HPV has killed and/or paralyzed many children and teens. My daughter is not getting this vaccine, they told her it was mandatory for high school. I called the board, quoted them the WVvaccine law, which doesn't inlcue HPV, and so far they have left us alone. I do the old school vaccines, but none of the new ones, my mom got my oldest the flu vaccines this yeR without me knowi, out of 5 of us, she is the only one who had the flu. My family does not do new vaccines, and we never will.

If I want to keep my job, I have to get a damn mandatory flu vaccine every year because of those of you who refuse to get a shot and come to the hospital when you get the flu. Thanks a lot! Sure I could refuse, but I have to have a damn good reason and I would have to wear a mask from Oct 1st to April 1st everytime I set foot in the hospital as an employee.

I'm in my 60's and I remember what life was like before vaccines. Well, none of you want to hear about that. I had the mumps, chickenpox, little measles, and big measles(Rubella). There were things that I didn't get. Polio was the big scare. I had to take the smallpox vaccine twice, the first one didn't take. All children got sick and these were in the days when children stayed home and didn't go to daycare. The population is a 3X more than what it was when I was a child.

Guess what. Small pox and polio have been eradicated. It is hard to argue with success. Guess that is why the use of vaccines has exploded. The bad news ... the polio vaccine was contaminated with another viris, Monkey pox which has been shown in later cancers.

The government has caused many cancers by nuclear testing and through the polio vaccine, yet, they share no responsiblility in the cost of treating these unless one is over the age of 65.

You people fight vaccines by not taking them. The other way that you need to fight is by getting the laws repelled that protect the drug companies from massive lawsuits. I do not know the statistics on thoses who suffer adverse effects from vaccinations. Opps, I looked up one article. It stated that about 1 in 7500 children suffered severe reations. I am talking neurological effects, not fever or swelling. The odds on those 2 are around 50%.

Opps, I think I lost my case. I will shut up now. I still think that those who suffer major, long term side effects need to be compensated in some way and their medical costs covered for their lifetime other than Medicaid or Medicare. Big Pharma should not get a bye on this. There should be some accountablility so they will be careful to produce a quality, well studied product.


No, I do not think anyone should be forced to do anything, yet, I am forced to take a vaccine to keep my job. Ha, ha, ha it would be funny if people had to pass a vaccination test like they do a drug test! Well, I was tested for immunity to several childhood diseases, but, since I had them as a child, I was reactive and did not have to get a vaccine for those.

Should we as a country go back to having those childhood illnesses? I think that would make a good thread. I am too lazy to start it. Oh, and I have other things to do. Anyone?

It shows in the overview the plan for 2020 vaccination. I don't get the flu shot for I became ill with pneumonia when they gave me one. First time I got that since I was 3 and I was 50. I won't get the shingles shot either. My sister received it and now breaks out in hives all over every time she gets in the sun.

That I have to take the vaccine because you do not take one and go to the ER when you have the flu? Or, that I pointed out that childhood illnesses would return if the population ops out of giving vaccines to their children? I am all for doing what the majority of the population agree to.

I do not agree that the law protects big pharma for any major lawsuits due to vaccination. I urged people to contact their representatives and express their concern. In researching the number of neurological side effects, I realized that it is much higher than what I thought and I stated so in my post.

You are right. I am an old goat who will not be on this earth much longer. I choose to spend my last days working and giving my family a chance for sucess rather than losing everything that I have worked for. My guess is, I have about 10 years left if that much. The big C is catching up with me. If you rejoice at my death, please let it be for the right reason, that I am at last reunited with my Father.

Oh, by the way, this is one reason why I do not like to participate in the vaccine threads. If one opposes the popular opinion, then you set yourself up for all sorts of abuse. If you try to present another side of the story, childhood diseases that scar and kill, you are said to worship the dark one. Yes, I come from a different era when the polio, tetenus, and small pox vaccines were thought to be a miracles. Guess you can get too much of a good thing.

I don't have children. When I went to public school in San Diego a few basic vaccinations were required for entry like polio, diptheria, small pox, rubella, mumps, etc for the most serious diseases at the time. Admission to Girl Scout camp also required the same. Even admission to UCLA required it.

Recall a family who were Seventh Day Adventists who refused shots and the entire family came down with a serious case of measles.

I get an annual flu shot as I have a weak immune system despite eating an extremely healthy diet, getting lots of exercise, and avoiding illegal drugs and limiting alcohol.

So exactly what extra shots are we discussing? Yes I'll go back and watch the videos. I was shocked when someone said school kids now are required to takea many, many more vaccinations than was required for me.


An additional point, there are a lot of people now living in the US from foreign countries where vaccinations are not the norm. Plus there are many who cannot afford the most basic, preventative vaccines. It's been said that the vast majority of patients seen by ER in Germany all have at least one case of untreated VD. That is why child rape is so extremely serious. There is concern if one has not received any preventative and basic vaccinations yet is among a mixed population in a large city there is a huge risk.

your weak immune system is not helped by an annual flu vax, in fact the mercury in it is fucking up your immune system even more. This is why despite healthy eating you are not healthy. Look into a detox asap.

I will definitely look into it. One of the issues I've discovered is that as a child I spent a lot of time swimming in San Diego County's then relatively clean ocean. When I moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA the smog plus the lack of cleansing salt water from the ocean resulted in fall and winter allergies and nasal issues. Worse some of the places I lived in Los Angeles and in Vegas had old rugs with mildew.

I am much better off living in an environment without any floor covering and spending a lot of time outdoors. So perhaps it's not really the flu at all. My current doctor gave me generic flonase which has made a major difference. Salt water rinsing didn't help. Medicated chest rub under my nostrils does work. I also take a daily allergy pill. Have tried to go a couple days without it and then I just can't breathe. I've really upped my consumption of spicy food, curry, garlic, tomatoes, citrus fruit, etc.

The weak immune system is from too many car accidents and soft tissue injuries.
