Well the babyboomers and the "greatest generation" let all the foreigners come in after 1965 and let the businesses start outsourcing, let Marxism permeate the schools, allowed prayer to be taken out of schools and the rise of militant, crazy feminism (the first wave in the early 1900s made sense and did some good things). You have to look at the greatest generation too for some things. Everything they did was not so great. The babyboomers could have turned it around but didn't.

Our entire pension system is counting on most of the people who have paid into it dying before receiving full benefits.

Sorry Boomers, but we Millennials are mathematically incapable of paying for the pension system you created. They sold you a fraudulent system where you give them money, they control it, and then you hope that they will give it back someday down the road. Meanwhile, year after year, we see stories of corruption and ineptitude from pension managers.

It doesn't matter how old you are, if you think that the government is going to manage your retirement for you then you are nuts.

Retire about 60. We rent our rentals to white people (this is North Idaho) and tourists on the big island.

401K is actually my highest-valued asset, although some of the real estate is neck-and-neck. I wasn't really counting on it, hence putting eggs in many baskets.

Actually, most of the millennials I know work their asses off. Lots of construction around here, so a lot of local kids don't go off to Debt U, and stick around here learning a trade.

The boomer generation owns all the affordable housing and they are trying to rent out housing at the cost of buying a house. One might wonder why people would pay rent that high? Because a first time starter has no bank roll and no credit history == they can't buy a house. Not to mention, wages are tanked. If you can't figure that out, you're part of the problem.
