Most states actually have very strong landlord-tenant laws that favor the tenant. But he obviously didn't mean tenant rights, like having the heat turned on. He's a socialist cry-baby who wants the government to step in and institute rent control so those evil house owners can't charge them fair market rent. Rent control, of course, reduces available housing just like minimum wage reduces available jobs, but you can't discuss economics with socialists because they don't want to hear it.

For example where are all the high paying manufacturing jobs that your generation enjoyed? Oh that's right they were shipped overseas during the Clinton years.

Or how bout the ability for a married man to support his family with a decent wage with just a high school education. This was possible during your generation but today it is not.

Or how bout going to your average burger joint and getting a cheeseburger with fries and a coca cola for under 50 cents. Today for the same meal we are spending roughly 7 to 8 dollars.

So no the same opportunities that you enjoyed are no longer here since all of the high paying jobs are gone, the dollar has gone to shit and the damn Mexicans are taking whats left of the unskilled jobs.
