Re: Hey guys, I think I have a blood clot in my leg, no insurance. What should I do?
Paraplegic here, for seven years. Had a bloods clot in my left leg from the doctors not telling me anything about needed movement and elevation.

DO NOT mess around with it. I got a pulmonary embolism to my lungs for not taking my coumadin. It HURT, and i thought that i was going to die. Even the doctor commented at the ER "wow, you look good!". Meaning you should be dead. Only the grace of the Elohim kept me alive.

Take a tablespoon full of Turmeric and Cayenne Pepper in hot tea every night. Those are effective blood thinners. I used to take coumadin/warffarin for blood thinners since my injury in 2010, but have not taken any since last year October. Turmeric and Cayenne pepper are excellent blood thinners. Works for me. My clots are gone.

Get yourself a chainsaw and a handle of vodka. Get drunk as hell, drink 3/4 of the handle until the room is spining. Then cut the leg off with the chainsaw. Next pour the vodka on the leg stub. Next light the stub on fire to cauterize it and stop the bleeding. Problem solved.

Re: Hey guys, I think I have a blood clot in my leg, no insurance. What should I do?
Hey I know this isn't doom related but I have received good advice here before so I though I would try again.

About 2 months ago I had an episode where my leg and feet (mainly right side) swelled up and I attributed it to sitting and salty foods i had that day. Since I have been avoiding the salt and haven't noticed much overall swelling but I was looking at my leg a bit ago and it seems like I have a decent sized bulge "2 diameter and maybe 3/4" high, slightly bruised looking. Anyways it seems like it could be a clot from what I have read.

I am 32y male, 6' 2', 189 lbs. I am in good shape, work out and eat fairly clean and feel great overall but I sit quite a bit for work in front of a computer as a 3d artist.

I don't have insurance, what would you do in my situation? Should I go to an ER or an urgent care clinic and ask if they can bill me?

Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks for taking any time to read this or reply.

They are right ER, not Urgent care. My sister had one, suspected it for she had been sitting too long because of bronchitus.

She first went to urgent care, but they sent her straight to a hospital. Said they don't treat that.

if it is, you will have to check it once a week. I don't know how she did that. she was glad it went away always half a year.

I have had 2 issues of severe DVT both legs. First immediately take asprin if you think its a clot. Secondly clots are really Painful and swell the leg. Measure both calf's the Painful leg should be appreciable bigger. Third have someone push your big toe forward with a DVT it will send pain up the leg, I know from experience. Hope this helps

Go to the ER.

Have you had surgery lately, been sedentary or been on a long flight?? These things can cause blood clots.

Just go to the ER...the price of your life is worth more than the ER. Everyone has medical bills they haven't paid, just go.

Probably better than other suggestion here.

TAKE SERRAPEPTASE ENZIME to melt the clot.
Drink ginger tea as blood thinner.
TAKE D3 VIT K2 to keep calcium in the bones and not gaving it deposit in your veins.
B3 and B6 to boost circulation and clean veins.

Take choline to emulsionate fats. You can also apply fosfaldicholine + b3 on spot...it absorbs easily.

Take high doses of omega 3 fish oil every day. Fish oil is a powerful blood thinner. If it were me I would take 5,000-7,000 mg of fish oil every day. There are a ton of natural blood thinners that are just as effective and much safer than rx blood thinners. However, I would definitely have it checked out by a doctor just in case it's an emergency situation. Good luck OP.

Could be extremely serious.

I'd get a spice bottle of cayenne and would shake the spice onto my hand and lick it off my palm, doing this several times. I've stopped heart attacks this way. The capsaicin in the cayenne can help to dissolve the clot.

Is it a risk? Sure. It might not work.

Going to the emergency room is also a high risk option.

You decide.

Yes, I did cure my Stage 4 cancer in two weeks when I was 48. I also reversed my chronic kidney disease (glomerulonephritis) when I was 25. In neither case were any medical treatments involved.

Serrapeptase might help. It is said to dissolve blood clots and arterial plaque. Best to be near a hospital in case the clot breaks loose.

Head to an ER. I'm a Respiratory therapist and it's the best choice. They have to see you and perform any diagnostics to see if this is something that requires immediate attention. Insurance not required.
