I'm Dutch, for my geography exam, one of the test was to write down 30 states in alphabetic order.

Europeans learn North American Geography because they have desired to immigrate here(NA) for the last 300 years, not so much for Americans wanting to go back to Europe.

Are Europeans learning Antarctica's geography? Hell no because there's no one waiting to immigrate to that continent.

If you're arguing who's smarter cause they know stuff then you lost when you ran off at the fingers to begin with, because as has been pointed out Europeans for the most part have desired to immigrate here for hundreds of years therefore teaching the children is valuable.

So to wind this up I dreaded the 50 states test, why? Because there's states i'll never go to, never desire to, and had to clutter my brain with data I would never need, and guess what, the states I've been to (12 states) I never needed to know where or what the capitol was while I was in the state.

I won't get into the propaganda school systems we all have had to deal with as kids and young adults and why things are taught as they are these days.

They're telling other nationalities that the US is theirs while they took it from the American Indians in the first place. besides that.
