He raises some interesting points but it sounds like a lot of mental gymnastics. Instinctively, the whole 5D chess theory comes across like a major cop-out.

I consider Trump a bright man. I believe that he wants the best for his family and the US. I particularly like that he has an alternative view on reality, like we have, and his 28 bullet agenda is spot fucking on. I even like some of the people in his administration who are generally disliked by GLP.

But...

The whole Ryancare fiasco was just painful. That was not chess. It was not even checkers. That was just straight up incompetence across the board.

I have become my skeptical old me again.
