Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney said Thursday that the White House is “looking at options” at how to raise the legal limit of how much the debt the federal government can hold, called the debt ceiling. The limit was reimposed on March 16, and will likely need to be raised by autumn to avoid a default.
