This is confusing, Cody and Emma are younger than the older kids, are the older kids from that nasty woman?

My very first thought when seeing this was mom in the video (or step mom rather) is the type of woman who does whatever, plays along with whatever her husband says. She could probably be molded to go to even more extreme levels.

Anyone willing to guess why Mike and Heather wanted full custody over Cody and Emma? This aspect doesn't make a lot of sense considering that Mike was a deadbeat dad for 7 years and had little to no communication with the two children during that time. So why, after marrying a woman who already has three children from another partner, does he want them back so suddenly?

I think it was Heather who demanded this for either welfare purposes or to get a higher tax deductible. If anyone else may have a better hypothesis then be my guest.

Im sorry that you had such a bad experience in a foster family care. BUT, this doesnt mean that this man who probably is their real father is a decent father anyway (being a real parent doesnt mean that you are a good one and that you love your children).
