I was joking about the pac-men
Except I just ran through all 14 of the channels I listen to except for the buzzer channel. ALL the channels are playing one of 2 beepdebeep sequences under the static. Usually it's different randomness or silence. THis is weird.
Quoting: Copernica the Proud American Two possibilities; Atmospheric gain from the spectrum closing Encoded communications we cannot access Quoting: Waiting For The Crash It could very well be some type of gain at the upper/lower limits of the spectrum, but I have always suspected that this was spread-spectrum encoded/encrypted comms.. just a theory. The USAF, USN and NATO channels are playing the same thing. I may just listen to the buzzer for awhile. I find it soothing. Except the boopdee's are even on that station behind the buzzer. :hidetomato: Quoting: Copernica the Proud American I grew up listening to static and semi populated 40M frequencies as a kiddo. Puts me into "soothed" state immediately hearing just ambient static.
