Has anyone else realized that many, if not most, women, are basically the guy from the movie Memento?

I have dated many women. I am a decent guy, not abusive. I am in no way perfect, but I have a good job, I try to be good to people.

I have been kind of reviewing my dating life since I broke off this last relationship, and I have come to realize, the movie Memento is the perfect description of pretty much the perfect description. If you haven't seen it, a man suffers from short term memory loss, he basically can't remember anything for more than 30 minutes. He writes everything down to try and solve a mystery.

Every woman I date...it doesn't matter if I get them a nice piece of jewelry, a great dinner, a great night out, great sex....within a very short time they are unhappy and asking what have I done for them lately, like literally the next day in many cases.

If we argue, the woman will bring up things that happened months or even years ago, even if that whole thing is resolved and has no bearing on anything. Even if we have discussed a disagreement at length and she admitted I was right, she will suddenly revert to really bad arguments in order to not appear wrong in the current situation. If she is right, I admit it and remember it. If I am right, she will apparently hold a wedge of fire breathing anger deep inside her and unleash it when needed.

It is like these people wake up in a daze, forget everything they have learned about everything, and suddenly they are lashing out and angry and confused.

I talked to a woman the other night, very pretty, seems great. I threw her number away. Because I know eventually, she will become the guy from Memento, and I will be right back in that land of confusion.

Fuck that. Im buying hookers from here on.
