This is nothing but a trick of the mind to make you not care about anything as a means to escape the exhaustion of having to care. Its cowardice.

Yet you're still stuck on the earth plane .. surrounded by zombies. -- do you isolate yourself from the horde? or attempt to live out your days "enlightened" amongst them? - which will drive you even more fucking insane. .. but good luck!

Does the ego vote BS or Amazing in this thread?
Does the Buddha vote Reasonable?

Funny how souls within this material world want so badly to escape it, when they probably spent timeless eons trying to arrive here to strive at the edge of the abyss and explore individual sovereignty and find ego.

Some in this world "fall" willingly, and declare the abyss their domain.

Eh I don't want to escape it I want to overcome it. Big difference I think. Be in the world but not of it. Create a better place. Cue the kumbyah songs if you will! :-)

Speaking for me personally, I don't consider willfully returning to 'the source' as overcoming. More like retreating... like regressing to breast feeding. Going backward to a prior state.

Create a better place - now that's one I can agree with.

My definition of ego:

Self-awareness of individuality and separateness, and all constructs which branch from it, such as identity.

Truth. The source should always be with us and able to tap into anyways. With that you bring home here :-)

Now let's take consciousness to the outer reaches of manifestation and beyond, beyond the horizon, which is where new creation happens, and be the creators! The lords of our individual realms... The existential Manifest Destiny of the individual, if you will.

Already trying to brother :-) consciousness cannot be defined it needs to be created. Always expanding.

The ego isn't going anywhere. Even the media and educational system is pushing it by giving people rewards for not doing shit! They feed that ego until something snaps inside. Then we have what we have today!
