That is my impression too. He was probably just trying to have a quiet Sunday and snapped because this pool party had loud, obnoxious people and music near his living quarters.

Right? The pool is right at the center of that apartment complex. On a Sunday night, with all those windows, there should be plenty of witnesses, and even another video or two. Unless, of course, if it were a hoax, the hoaxers would have rented all those apartments to prevent such witnesses.

It was the only angle to film all of the police running in, keeping it all in frame. One apartment over, up, down, sideways, it would be cut off a little. Plus the fact that this one youtube channel has this footage is strange.

naw La Jolla is one of the richest cities in the country so the city hall and police are quietly downplaying the bad press. dont want to make the rich folks nervous and make them feel unsafe.

they really dont want the folks that pay ten grand a month in property taxes packing up and moving to say carlsbad or another ridiculously overpriced community. the whole coast is filled with them.
