I swear every once in awhile.

But as always there is an extreme to everything.

Some people take it way overboard and sound like they have tourettes.

You notice it crept into movies, music, then tv first?

I swear occasionally too, but the pervasiveness of bad language is wearing me down.

It's amazing how that works.

part of it is a vocabulary problem. while murmering in a sea of voices it can be an attempt to increase the impact of words' meaning.

mostly it is just a result of the triumphalism of technology having eliminated the necessity of polite interchange, gentleness and restraint.

it appears decency itself is fading into myth

Why do you want to ban parts of our vocabulary? Words in and of themselves are neutral.

Why do people with tourettes always use those words people consider bad? Why don't they say nice things instead?

It is only foul language because that is what you have been told and brain washed to believe , why is the word fuck any different than the word love ? ..... Because you are a sheep and you think that when someone moves their mouth and makes a certain noise forming a certain word that you should become offended by this . Chill the fuck out and stop taking offence to everything , you might even try dropping the f-bomd yourself , it might actually release some of that offended to everything attitude you have .

I believe words are just letters joined together. They have no bad or good in them. The reader/listener makes their own interpretations of them. It's all in their heads.
