Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70613419 it's illegal to melt down coins. It's illegal to be a gawdamned Kenyan in the White House. We're past all that legal/illegal stuff. Back then, you could still find Silver coins in your daily pocket change. I wouldn't have paid that! Compare that price to today's prices. In 1973 Gas was like, 40 cents in California. Bread was under a Dollar and Milk was 25 cents a quart! Last Edited by ~ Prof. on 05/02/2017 06:10 PM Every day, and in every way, the shit keeps getting deeper and deeper! |

Trade your fiat commodity for fiat money? All Bullshit… if you can't eat it, plant in it, or use it daily…. it ain't worth an empty promise! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29063086 The only PMs anybody should buy for long term investment is either physical or "allocated" (and even that I consider rather an usual dirty bankster trick) Gold, Silver, Tin (like in cans), Lead and Brass .. the 5 metals to invest in. yes, allocated is a lie. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74808885 Is someone else willing to try to corner the silver market? Otherwise, no. Actually, good evidence JP Morgan has acquired close to 500 million ounces over the last 5 years. Don't think they are doing that bc they expect price to go down. zero evidence beyond what you've read on silver doctors and like minded sites. |

Buy it in case you need it one day. Buy it as an investment. 1 ounce of silver costs less than a good meal. People eat out almost everyday in our society. Don't eat at restaurant one day a week. End of the year, you have 52 ounces. Pounds of silver in one year. Proctect Freedom |

Quoting: condor819 Silver is a turd investment. I have hundreds of ounces and I regret ever buying it. I regret buying Platinum, I regret buying Rhodium. The only precious metal I am glad I bought was Gold. It's way more stable(pricewise) than all the rest. The reason you regret it is because you got caught up in the silver rising price mania and bought at exactly the wrong time. Silver will be back down to $10 an ounce when there is another deflationary spiral (relatively soon, next few years). You'll look at it and say "wow! silver is even crappier than I could have imagined! Anyone who buys it is an idiot!" as the price drops through the floor. The smart people will buy right at the reversal of that drop and silver will once again quadruple in price as they pump endless amounts of monetized debt into the banks' hands. The fact that you want something that remains more stable is because you suffer from investor herd mentality. |

I think it's the beginning of what we've all been waiting for. The best time to buy pms is when even the silvertards have given up. No fun buying at the top. Samuel L Jackson |

You can measure the value of the Dollar by how tight your belt is. Too tight is too high! The Dollar went far further in the past than it does today. Now the Dollar is the last currency of refuge. The Euro is "Doomed"! And then there came Bitcoin! It's time for a change. P.S. This $17.20 price would have place Silver at a value of $120.00 an ounce compared to today's food prices. I think that people would have noticed! I was there, dumping Nixon. I didn't see a rush to Silver in 1973. Every day, and in every way, the shit keeps getting deeper and deeper! |
