Why did America replace the Articles of Confederation with the Constitution?

There was a cabal led by Alexander Hamilton which wanted an continental empire with a strong coercive central government.

We got what we deserved.

Started at the being of the 1900s making way for the federal reserve bank.

Because slave owner elite wanted to codify their right to own slaves. Articles did not do that. Nor did they articles alow for raising an army or Navy.
