There have been consistent rumors to the meeting happening. NRK usually would not feed such information unless there is something in it.

i thought the meeting was about the detained american citizens? and possibly negotiating a release? wasnt there something posted a day or two ago about US working with Sweden Ambassador in regards to the detained american in NK?

Could very well be that was the pretext, but the scope has been broadened. Swedish diplomats are obviously in the picture given they have confirmed the meeting.
