Not too far off. It's like our life is a DVD. It's already completed and we're just playing it out chronologically. God already knows if we'll choose Him or not. And in the end we'll all be watching each other's movie!

The Catholic Church is claiming something that is not in the Bible. (again)

The Bible clearly shows that people can change when they want to start serving God in the right way, according to the Bible.

A person who repents of his wrongdoings, even if the wrongdoings were very serious, if the person changes and stops living that way, and starts living according to God's word, then they are completely forgiven. God does not bring up the past things that we did wrong, after we have become a good person.

Take a look at what the Bible says:
Psalm 103:8,9,12-14 :
"Jehovah is merciful and compassionate,
Slow to anger and abundant in loyal love.
He will not always find fault,
Nor will he stay resentful forever."
"As far off as the sunrise is from the sunset,
So far off from us he has put our transgressions.
As a father shows mercy to his sons,
Jehovah has shown mercy to those who fear him.
For he well knows how we are formed,
Remembering that we are dust."

Notice how verse 12 says that God puts our transgressions far off. He doesn't keep account of our past sins. He forgives.

Isaiah 43:25 " I, I am the One who is blotting out your transgressions for my own sake,And I will not remember your sins."

Jeremiah 31:34
" “And they will no longer teach each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know Jehovah!’ for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them,” declares Jehovah. “For I will forgive their error, and I will no longer remember their sin.”"

Isaiah 55:7 "Let the wicked man leave his way
And the evil man his thoughts;
Let him return to Jehovah, who will have mercy on him,
To our God, for he will forgive in a large way."

The make "God" sound like a pretty shitty parent.
