I'm a Woman who HATES Feminism. Does this make me weird?

I absolutely loathe feminism.

I am a traditional woman. I like to wear dresses, do housework, cook, and treat others in a kind and feminine manner. Growing up, my idols were the housewives of the 1950s. Ive always held a deep admiration for their dedication towards maintaining the household and supporting their husbands no matter what.

Feminism came along and ruined this. Not only that, but Feminism said that women like me, who long for traditionalism, are wrong, and that I need to be "freed" from the oppressive patriarchy. I don't agree with that. Feminism is what has oppressed women.

Ive seen and studied it's effects. After Feminism took off, divorces skyrocketed and the gender roles disappeared so that now moms are taking the roles of the fathers and vice versa.

Women should be at home while the men should be at work. Call me crazy, but that's what I believe. Feminism destroyed this, so in turn, I hate Feminism. I hate what it has done to society. Am I weird for this? Most Milennial women are not traditional. And yet I am. I absolutely detest Feminism.

Even in the 1950s there were always women who wanted to work outside the home but the jobs open to them then were ones that still held women in their natural roles as nurturer, such as school teacher, nurse, secretary, librarian.
Now women compete with men for the same jobs and I think that's part of the problem men have with women and make them feel threatened by them.

Feminism has to do with the right for women to choose their roles. You want to be a housewife and raise the kids, I support your choice. You want to be an astrophysicist and make great discoveries, I support your choice as well. And guess what, I know plenty of hausfraus who are horrible at taking care of their families. I know professional women who will put their family first regardless of anything else. They also look sharp in a dress, love to cook and treat everyone in a kind, supportive manner. Including other women.

So get used to the fact that women can vote, hold office, serve on a jury, manage their own finances AND that they are not expected to only follow one sexist role in life. It's a better world for it.

I cannot stand behind such crassness.

I cannot stand by a movement that says that gender roles do not exist when they actually do exist and work wonderfully.

I cannot stand by principles that ask for me to give up my chasity and femininity in exchange of radicalism and backwards standards that completely go against biology.

I cannot support a movement that is anti-traditionalism and wants me to trade in my love of housekeeping, cooking, gardening and emotional care for a suitcase and a pantsuit.

I loathe Feminism.

divorce hasnt skyrocketed bc of feminism, it js bc women are empowered enough, can be on their own, and therefore do jot hv to take SHIT from asshole husbands / men

im divorced.....my ex bled me for money, i waived all rights to alimony, etc. from him bc i didnt want anything from that asshole .... while also working, i propped up his career and made him into what he is by giving a jackass confidence.

if i had a daughter i wld tell her to NEVER GET MARRIED ... and if she did tell her to get a serious pre-nup and to keep her assets SEPARATE from his....but, i wld HIGHLY discourage it.
