Rural area, not a house within a 1/4 mile of where the kid was. I wasn't going to touch that child. This was before cell phones. So I parked my car on the side of the road and walked next to the kid to keep it safe. The closest house was in a subdivision behind the kid, so I stood in front of the kid and pointed back toward the houses and said lets go home. Luckily the kid turned around and started walking in that direction. We walked for another 30 minutes - no parent around looking for a missing kid... We we finally got close to the subdivision, a lady walked out of the first house and yelled at me for walking the kid down the middle of the road barefoot. I told her to call the cops. She didn't. A few houses later, a lady opened her front door and yelled "is that your kid"? I told her it was not, that she was free to come get the kid if she wanted. The lady came out and picked up the kid. I told the lady what had happened, and pointed to my car parked way down the road. She was in shock. She sat on her front porch with the kid and I walked back to get my car. When I returned, she still had the kid. I drove around the subdivision looking for parents that were looking for a kid, but never found any. When I drove back to the house, the lady said the kid's mom was at her neighbors house visiting and didn't know the kid left the house. The cops were never called and I never saw the kid or mom after that. That kid had to have been missing for an hour and a half at a minimum. Some people should not be parents... |

[link to www.9news.com] That's all??? For losing someone elses reason to live??? Wow. Justice is not relative to the crime. They should lose their license and have to jump through many hoops to get it back. And the workers, should be in a new position asking- "Would you like fries with that order??" But who am I, only a parent. Living has taught me one thing; nothing is certain...except salvation through Jesus Christ! |

If you'd lost those two toddlers you'd have called the police and you'd be screaming up and down the street. It appears she went back inside as though this were a regular occurrence, ho hum... I mean some one with a nefarious motive could have seen them and snatched them up or they could have been run over by a car at the busy intersection.... What is so frightening is they didn't call the police right away. Why not? Was it to protect themselves? |

No, there are workers in there that are deliberately sabotaging the business to break the law. Aurora is toxic like that. |
