the tr3b would crash if major malfunction.the astra upgrade meant once they got back into atmosphere,they could glide in.this was also built into the b2 for the same safety reason.saucers dont glide well either.

you are probably right about them about to use the tech just as the f117was released right before the baltic wars or iraq.along with the b2.im so sick of war and gov.both have almost outlived their times.
