Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

sin = rebellion

to atone for iniquity,

Particularly important for the full biblical picture of atonement as it is found in Christ is the sacrifice Aaron makes for himself and his family ( Lev 16:11-14 ). Everyone, even the high priest, is guilty and needs atonement that can only be provided by God himself. The author of Hebrews emphasizes this point to make clear his doctrine of the purity of Christ as both the true and perfect sacrifice and the true and perfect priest who performs the ritual of atonement ( 8:3-6 ; 9:6-15 ). The Old Testament sacrifices are shown to be but shadows of the real sacrifice of Christ on the cross by the fact of Aaron's sinfulness; an imperfect high priest cannot offer a true sacrifice, just as the blood of bulls and goats could never truly pay for the offense of human sin or substitute for the shedding of human blood.

I take no stand either way concerning a "Rapture", as I believe it has no DIRECT effect on our Salvation.

The scriptures supposedly supporting a rapture as such are intriguing though.

To me, the REAL questions are...

1. If it becomes clear that the Tribulations have actually started, and there hasn't been a rapture, will those Believers then doubt God / lose their Faith?

2. If no rapture has happened and it's clear that the antichrist has appeared, how many will chose to follow him, versus remaining strong until the end?

3. Or vice-versa. A rapture DOES happen, but yet some Believers were left behind. Does that mean that they weren't TRUE Believers, or did God leave some behind, hoping that they could either help any "fence sitters" who decide to repent and become full Believers, or perhaps they themselves needed to FULLY Believe?

I was considering all about the rapture one evening, and I merely told the Lord, "If there IS a rapture, and You decide to leave some behind to help increase / FINISH the Harvest, I would volunteer to be in that group, should it be Your Will for such, Lord".

He replied, "Others have asked the same of Me. Thank you for being willing to do whatever My Will shall be."

And when it does not happen, will you be prepared to face humiliation and laughter behind your back?

The Coming Messiah

Jesus is born in Bethlehem - there was a great sign in Heaven

could this verse be pointing to the Great Sign of Sept 23 and Rev 12 be the fulfilling of the fullness of the Gentiles has come



After the Rapture of the church the ending of the fullness of the Gentiles has come

It is all about Israel

Then the remnant of His brethren - the 144,000
Shall return to the children of Israel.
4 And He shall stand and feed His flock
In the strength of the Lord,

And they shall abide,
For now He shall be great - the second coming of Yahshua
To the ends of the earth;
