Just for comparison OP:
If you pay 1000 dollars a month rent for 30 years you will have paid your landlord 360,000 dollars and you own nothing.

I had our acreage paid off in 15 years and have been living house payment and rent free for about 20 years. Beats the hell out of paying rent your whole life. Us also; 15 and done. been here since '93... Sorry O.P. Don't think I'd ever rent to an entitled, whinyass. I'm quite sure you wouldn't respect MY Property.
