Where did you hear that? I heard they could re-open it, but surely to re-open something means it's been closed.
Quoting: Tess. To re-open something that easily (Assange returning to Sweden) means the case has been suspended. On the other hand a case closed means case closed, you can not reopen a closed case that easily unless there is some new evidence which will have a big impact on the case/investigation. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71909450 Hence, Marianne Ny's cruel laughter... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71909450 What does it mean when a case (rape) is suspended? source: [ link to answers.yahoo.com (secure)] Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71909450 But I don't get where you got 'suspended' from... weden's top prosecutor has said she has dropped a rape investigation into Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks. Director of Public Prosecution, Marianne Ny, said she had decided to discontinue the investigation against Mr Assange in a statement on Friday morning. I see 'dropped' and 'discontinued' - not 'suspended.' Anyway, the statute of limitations means the time to charge has expired.
