Are there police still outside the Embassy waiting to arrest him ?

If so that would not be in the public interest to waste public money doing so for such a petty offence as skipping bail.

He should fly away from the roof top in a giant drone to a waiting getaway car to a waiting getaway jet to a waiting getaway country.

Re: Assange will still be arrested if he leaves the embassy - British police statement
The British have acted in line with the law in all of this.

We got an EU arrest warrant from Sweden.
We arrested him.
We allowed him to appeal for years and even allowed him to be free on bail.
He failed in all of his appeals.
He then broke his bail agreement.
He is wanted for breaking his bail agreement.

Not sure what people want from the UK in this.

Seems like Assange accepts this and his speech seems to be sucking up to the UK and blaming the EU.

Not sure where he goes from here. The UK will probably cancel his arrest warrant for skipping bail after the election, keeping him in the embassy until then is the best political option.

Then what happens to him depends on if the US issue an extradition request.

If they do and he is arrested in the UK he will be in prison for at least 3 to 6 months, they won't give him bail straight away because he skipped it last time. They probably will after 6 months, maybe some sort of house arrest whilst he appeals his extradition to the US.

The extradition to the US legal proceedings could go on for 5 years.

There is no guarantee the UK will agree to extraditing him, the US has talked about "executing" him. This is not acceptable to the UK.

Remember the extradition of Gary McKinnon was blocked by Theresa May personally, she isn't afraid of saying "No" to America.

Have a bunch of people over for dinner. Have one where a disguise and stay behind while Assange dresses like him and walks out like a boss, drives to France and hops a private jet to Ecuador.

Then other guy, with no disguise walks out with a work crowd a day or two later.

It would work. Hope Brit coptards don't read GLP and steal my master plan.

Absolutely and if he lives long after that, I'll be surprised.

Great Movie.. Better plan though -- and one that brings into play the cultural sensitivity of the west:

Have 20 people walk into the embassy wearing burkah's for some type of islamic cultural 'program' or something. Then, assange slips on a burkah and walks out with them, sans one of the fake muslims.

get on 20 different motor bikes and take off in different directions.

chase on
