No, you are not correct, Tao is God.

Tao explains 'everything/all' all is God, why wouldn't Tao be God? God equals Jesus and Jesus equals the way. I don't know. I just don't see the contradiction. The contradiction is, Taoism is atheistic. Nature wasn't created by a supreme deity according to Taoism. The universe is seen as an infinite play of energies, not a creation of some god. I'm terribly confused at this point. If Tao says you can gain immortality without Jesus is it not correct. I have a lot of research to do it seems.
