I remember him doing an interview on a local Los Angeles talk station back during the Gov. Gray Davis recall. This was before The Five.

He was furious and screaming into the phone. You could hear him spitting while ranting away. Then he hung up in the middle of the "interview."

It was unbelievable! He became a running joke on the radio after that. It was great!

There's some truth to this. Beckel was like the fat kid at school you pushed around. It was too easy and at some point it wasn't even fun anymore.
