Not really. I live in Los Angeles and I have seen like 8 rocket launches and that's what they look like. The only thing that changes are the lighting and the angle but they basically look like that.

who's that filming it, cheech and chong?

No NOTAMs up for space operations though.

That's the key to any successful "Rocket" launch.

Well at first I thought it was a rocket launch or possibly some CGI......

But then I listened to the music, and that convinced me it was a UFO. The music had a certain sound and creepiness about it...

Amazing, isn't it, how a camera was set up looking at an evening sky and then this amazing object suddenly came out of nowhere. Now what would someone be doing filming a boring, ordinary sky when no object had become visible? How coincidental is that?

No, this is obviously CGI. The hoaxer made the error of showing some frames BEFORE the object became visible, thereby making it highly implausible for two reasons:
1. why would someone be filming an ordinary evening sky? It was not as though it was a beautiful sunset worth filming!!
2. What are the chances of a flaming object appearing out of nowhere whilst this purposeless filming was going on? Zilch.

Hmmm, googling quake lights seems to bring up similar things. I used to work in that area, I've seen a rocket contrail (?) from Vandenburg before, it was pretty but it didn't look like that -- then, again, what do I know. Haven't we been doing launches recently off the west coast?

Op-nice. In as far as we don't have to beg for a link, it was embedded in the initial post, it was a decent video with no crazyassed bouncing around, nice. Just had to say thanks on that big time!!

And yes, that's a ufo. They're all around us and watching at this time since this is THE event of all events goin down as we speak.

Lets look at the facts....vid is shot in LA and looking west north west by the setting sun and Vandenberg AFB, a missle test base, is 128 miles north west of LA....Its a MISSILE launch!!! Seen many from LA and was stationed at Vandenberg in the 80's
