Well, first, I don't see much difference between Pres. Trump calling Comey a showboater or nut job. Pres. Trump can describe him however he likes, most of us agree with him anyway. No one really likes Comey. Second, this comment was probably explaination for the russian official because remember the official was accosted by our press and asked questions regarding Comey and the official laughed. Remember that? So Pres Trump must have felt some background explanation was in order and Pres. Trump is pretty blunt.

The second sentence needs more context to determine meaning. It could be totally unrelated to the first sentence and out of place in the conversation. He may have been recounting Comey's statements to him that he wasn't under investigation. He could have been giving reason he couldn't engage in foreign policy with Russia because of this stupid russian collusion BS. Which, I might add, I have been saying for a long time, that this BS russia story is holding this nation hostage domestically and holding this administration hostage on foreign policy.

So, many reasonable explanations and once again, the left is running around with their hair on fire.

Who here really thinks that Trump didn't realize the investigation still goes on once Comey is fired? He's not stupid people and neither are we.
