After Donald Trump’s "nut job" moment, even Sean Spicer isn’t willing to lie for him anymore

Something remarkable happened today, after the media got wind of one of Trump’s most embarrassing (and potentially incriminating) moments to date.
Remarkably, Sean Spicer didn’t even bother to deny the story. In the past he would have automatically rejected the premise of any negative report about Donald Trump, whether he knew it to be true or false or otherwise. But this time around, it seemed Spicer was simply no longer willing to lie for his boss.

That's right...NOBODY at thew WH denied this story. Spicer may have decided he simply isn’t up to the task of lying to cover for his boss anymore. But it’s also possible that, with a Special Counsel now having been appointed in the Trump-Russia investigation signaling just how serious the scandal is about to become, Spicer wasn’t willing to lie about Trump committing obstruction of justice. It’s almost enough to make one wonder if Spicer has perhaps been talking to a lawyer of his own.

However much I believed Trump's Presidency would be scandal-plagued, before he came to office, I never thought it would be this bad. It's not just the seriousness of it all, it's the rank amateurism.

Comey is a grandstanding partisan nutjob, his " investigation" was never going to end, he was getting to the point where he lied to congress and the president because his stories were so twisted, and his removal by the POTUS enables Trump to,engage in diplomacy with Russia over Syria, Ukraine and teaming up,agaimst ISIS
Not to mention starting to restore the FBI to the job of investigating real crimes and real enemies of our Republic

“I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”

In other words, he fired Comey to take the pressure of the Russia investigation off of him.
