I had lung cancer (adenoma) which metastesised to my brain. I feel that too much info re alternatives is worrying and raises tension. You can't possibly do all of it! So..I smoke cannabis and ingest THC oil, I take liposomal vit. C, eat and drink to make my system alkaline, and try not to get stressed. would never take chemo, if what I'm doing doesn't work, I am fine with dying, although I am older than your friend (63) This has been my life for nearly 6 years now, and I'm happy to see the sun rise another day. By all means try as much as possible, but to me, being as stress free as possible is the best medicine. Oh, and my dog, who gets me outside in the fresh air and loves me.
