Proof CNN Is a Military Psyop

I was a 37 series (PSYOP) back in the 00's. I haven't read the article yet, but offhand, I doubt its veracity (probably blown out of proportion) and I wouldn't call this "proof" that US Army PSYOP are engaged in disseminating product, or otherwise influencing CNN or MSM. In other words, they're not writing the news, and then having CNN broadcast it. They're more than likely learning production techniques, which are useful in modern strategic PSYOP (now called MISO.). Their are several broadcast booths on Ft. Bragg, that look just like those you'd find in any TV studio.

One of the first things that was emphasized in our AIT courses was that using PSYOP against American citizens on American soil was a big "no-no" and that if such orders were given, we were well within the bounds of UCMJ to refuse those illegal orders. It's a fine line, influencing TAs, but overall, I don't see the Army getting much use out of something like this. Not for the risk of potentially massive blowback.

Additionally, PSYOP tools, like manpacks and speaker gear could be used in civil emergencies (like hurricanes) to help extract citizens or otherwise guide them to safety. That would of course most likely be done reserve side.

Make no mistake - I share your belief that CNN is full of BS, like all the MSM owned by the 6 conglomerates. You can't trust very much that you read or view or hear these days. I also agree that the government is engaged in PSYOP to herd and pacify the masses. Many reporters have come out and said as much. It's a quid-pro-quo type deal, insofar as "we give you access to this, you run that for us later." CIA has a long history of this.

Methinks if he did a weekly public address from like a national monument, with each week a different monument explaining why the monument was made, AS to EDUCATE THE POPULATION about the country and its origins(why we are what we are), explaining the reasoning behind it, while also updating the public on his administrations' doings for the week,...I would find that fascinating and my children would also!

I like to call CNN "Cult News Network" because they use classic cult brainwashing tactics. I knew someone that was once n a cult and later deprogrammed. He explained how they did it.

Quotes taken out of context, other facts twisted, repetition of what they want to stick mentally, attempts to cutting the person off from any sources that might tell them thw truth and so much more were all common tactics. It's a stinning resembelence.

On a slightly serious note, I am aghast at the blatant, undisguised bias of the US media.

I thought that our media were bad but if this is the MSM that your citizens are being subjected to it's no wonder your Country appears to be SO divided.

At least here, we are aware of the political leaning of papers and channels, some still do adhere to a modicum of impartiality.

Many of my colleagues were fairly anti-Trump because they tend to believe that your news is fairly true, have now become staunch Trump supporters simply because of the all-out and obvious unfair assault against him.

It is apparent that you have a political cult of personality where no matter what Trump wishes to achieve will be be automatically opposed, irregardless of its merits.
Traitors like McCain Et al., would be removed from the party over here and the editors of all of the papers and news channels would be invited to a dinner and given the debriefing of their lives. I would hope..
