well obviously yes, theres plenty of sane, rational people that being a GLPER is just a plus.

however, sane, rational people see that it's more rational just to find a relationship in a more immediate, realistic place for having a relationship like where you live.

Re: RELATIONSHIPS: Would you like a GLPer as a GF or BF?
I have a mixed view on this.

I legitmately put an ad on craigslist looking for someone that could potentially follow along with my life. Listen to my theories, things I find, break throughs, etc..

No answers lol.

So... With GLP, if we could get along and accept each others niche's; sure I think it could work out and be pretty spectacular actually.

I'm too much of an introvert to ever actually cultivate a relationship like that online anymore though.

If she was an outsider GLPer already, that'd be alright.

I don't know.

Worlds ending soon anyhow.

Might as well just finish it off alone lmao!
TENTATIVE DATE: H - Hour

And you'll be back on the 14th and not admit that you were wrong. You'll either act like you didn't say it and you'll pronounce some new doom date or you'll come back as someone else (and probably declare a new doom date.)

That's how it always works. Nobody knows. Nobody will know.

Well said. And while I haven't been really working the singles scene, I do think it would be fun to have someone who shares my interests and curiosities, since pretty much no one IRL can withstand the cognitive dissonance of an interruption in their programming. Besides, people who are more free thinkers, curious, open, are more my type. When I was on the security detail in DC, always having been a news nerd, I would come home and tell my then-GF about this or that world leader I saw and she'd always say "who's that?" I was like we were fighting in Afghanistan and how could you not at least maybe once have seen their leader's name??

With the exception of the mention of conspiracy forums, such a profile would fit right in with the others of many women here in my region, which is close to a large military base.

I've been around GLP for a long time. Recently I put the following profile on a dating site. I've actually gotten some responses.

----------

I can be the sweetest, most sincere, thoughtful gentleman you meet. I can also be a mean a--hole. It mostly depends on the personality and character of the company I'm with. I'm looking for a true lady who is confident but easy-going, intelligent but respectful to everyone, has a good sense of humor but knows when to be serious, is generally agreeable but decisive, is close with friends but doesn't need conferences with them for every life decision, likes a variety of movies and TV programs but is not a TV addict, and loves God, family, and country (having actually read the Bible and the U.S. Constitution is a huge plus).

If you don't need a drunken night of karaoke to loosen up and can laugh at Paul Blart: Mall Cop movies, then we might get along. My ideal is someone who can be happy wrapping up in a blanket and watching Longmire or Ancient Aliens. You'll have to put up with some bodybuilding magazines and guitar music books laying around, though.

About me:

I'm originally from a small, conservative town in --- and have been in --- for over five years. I work in the tech industry in ---. I have a 15-year-old son who lives with his mother in ---.

I like to go out to concerts, museums, parks, the lake, sporting events, community events, restaurants, farmers markets, shopping centers, etc. I like to have a good time wherever I am and love to laugh and make others laugh. I enjoy keeping up with the news, staying fit, and playing guitar. I love to cook at home if there's someone to cook for. I do give foot rubs if I like you.

I love music of all sorts. I'll get down with whatever's good. I've got my tastes and try not to be a music snob. I like classical, smooth jazz and 80s pop as much as I do classic rock, hard rock and metal. However, l'll leave gangsta rap and nasally, twangy old school country (that sounds like Chinese music) for others to enjoy.

My favorite movies are:

The Shack, Indiana Jones series, LOTR series, Harry Potter series, Star Wars series, Stargate, The Matrix series, The Mummy series, The Green Mile, The 13th Warrior, Braveheart, Highlander, Gladiator, etc.

Life is short. There are lots of laughs and kisses to be had. Be adventurous and reach out. I'm on here to meet people.

A few things I need to add:

If you're one of those women who thinks it sounds sophisticated and savvy to speak with that obnoxious vocal fry nonsense, then GTFO. Also, if you can't be happy without ruining your beautiful body with graffiti, metal hardware, and cartoon hair, then GTFO. If you can't find contentment in basic things and compulsively follow the newest pop culture trends in sheep-like fashion to feel relevant, then GTFO.

If you have graduated "high" school but can't spell or write in complete sentences, then just GTFO. If you are so pretentious, haughty and full of hubris to deny God, then GTFO. If you get choked up thinking about the passing of Atheist entertainer David Bowie but don't get choked up thinking about the sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ, then GTFO.

If you are only capable of having lengthy, detailed, in-depth conversations about all the episodes from every season of your favorite fictional TV shows, but not real-world topics that matter, then GTFO. If you think sarcasm is not disrespectful and uncivilized and instead think it's oh-so-smart and urbane, you're wrong and GTFO. If you can't maturely communicate your needs, wants, and feelings, then GTFO.

If you're self-absorbed and solipsistic, then GTFO. If you think trying to emasculate your man in front of your friends makes you a strong woman, you're wrong and GTFO.

Please don't waste my time if you're still "figuring out what you want". You need to know you want me and be up front if you don't. I don't respond to games. I'm mature enough to walk away and I hope you are, too.

I just think that a relationship would be a little easier if the other person is 'awake' and does not watch and believe MSM. It is difficult to hear all the lies and then pretend like everything is okay in the world.

It would be nice to have a partner that understands the fundamental lies that have always been told to us and that things are nothing like they seem to be.

Wow that is a lot of information! My friend was on Match, she told me her password so I could look at it with her while we talked on the phone about it. It was like a pinball game up in there! OMG I don't know how people do it. Its way way to peopley for an introvert like myself. Ugh. Over the top like Spring Break at Daytona Beach vibe.

Good luck. If you are open to this - you might want to tone down the "do not want, GTFO" list. I think stating you are looking to find a traditional Christian minded woman - kind of covers the do not want list - but I am not experienced in the online dating world - so you probably know what you're doing.

I'm open to your feedback and suggestion. The scary part is, I added all the GTFO specifics AFTER having dinner/drinks with four traditional Christian minded women and dating two. I decided to be very specific to save a lot of time. When it comes to compatibility, it boils down to what things that annoy you about the other person can you live with. I had to add that list because they're deal breakers. The couple of replies I've had recently were from really great ladies who LOLed. Too bad I'm moving out of state in two weeks and can't follow up with them.

Most importantly, as a GLPer, I've got my references to Stargate, Ancient Aliens, the Matrix series, The Green Mile, Indiana Jones series, The Mummy series, US Constitution, the Bible, The Shack, aversion to sheep-like following of pop-culture trends and MSM, and the requirement that a woman be able to have real conversations about real-world subjects.
