Quoting: deplorable but adorable davvi Would you volunteer to give a Mekon a hand? Water seems to be the biggest problem. Oh and bring these towels, will you? Thanks to you I have 37p a month income, towels and water desalination! We will reach the center in no time :) Uh oh granny wants a bigger cut of the profits... Will this hinder the dig? Hmm it could do as the budget is already tight! Is there any room for negotiation? And as yet there are no profits, only losses which I am happy too share :) All right, I have told her that I will donate my cut if she will donate hers...it calmed the old girl down and she is thinking about it. Losses? What losses? You put it on e-bay right? |

I think his bushes are arcing poor chap! So it's going to mean surgery! Analysis of data so far.... Nothing unusual! And the worm from 42 meters failed the turing test and doesn't seem to respond to a mirror! "DAVE the rov is poorly!" Oh, I am sorry to hear this...I may have some Tylenol, will that help? Your very kind! And sure I think I could inject it into his bridge-rectifier! :) Oh good, I kind of figure that the dosing and delivery would be a little difficult... |

Yeah I don't think he will feel a thing! His bridge rectifier will be comfortably numb. Really it's just a routine bush extraction (ouch). Update: Data shows tesla and borderlands was also correct! Anonymous Coward User ID: 75081733 United Kingdom 06/14/2017 07:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The most mind-blowing diamond facts of all: Scientists have discovered a planet that they believe is composed mostly of carbon, and is one-third pure diamond! Discovered in 2004, the planet orbits a nearby star in the Milky Way, and is named “55 Cancri e” (which, in our opinion, is not a sufficiently glamorous name for such an extraordinary planet). Perhaps even more amazing, scientists have discovered a star that is essentially a diamond of ten billion trillion trillion carats. They named the star Lucy after the Beatles song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.” (We approve.) [link to www.brilliantearth.com (secure)] |

Great :) I understand your project is struggling financially and the work must be very tiring as well as dangerous so I wont be greedy here. Let's start with the low figure of 100'000 wheelbarrow full per year for now just to keep it relatively simple for you. P.S Do you except payment by bitcoin? I'm just looking into mining them myself! |

I know! £50 for 2 wheelbarrows full of diamonds seems a loss of several million dollars but it keeps the project going! DAVE's bushes cost £18 alone! Plus £23 of 8" drain pipe. But I'm nearly at 50 meters! Hit some rock and got more water!! Well I didn't expect this too be easy... |

Audio has picked some low frequency anomalies! It's less than 20Hz but too low for the mic to pickup accurately.. Might try a different mic if I can find the old Tandy PZM ! .................. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 75097852 United Kingdom 06/17/2017 06:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Update: Info and correlation of the worms collected: Abstract Investigated: the ability of the earthworm to acquire direction-habits; their characteristics; degree of permanency and relation to the brain; and their association with other factors. Manure worms and an apparatus designed to test the ability of earthworms to 'learn' to follow a simple path and to avoid an injurious chemical stimulus was used. Results show that worm were capable of acquiring modes of reaction involving a definite direction of movement and the association of 2 stimuli. The habit formed was inconstant and varied with the physiological condition of worms and imperfectly controlled external conditions. Experience affected the acquisition of direction-habits. Performance of the habitual act was not dependent upon the brain, since the worm reacted appropriately after its removal. Removal and the regeneration of the 1st 5 segments of the worm resulted in the development of a worm different in behavior from the original one. So in summary: You cut a worm in half but it's resulting segments do not retain the same traits. Also note that worms are very high in protein (higher than beef) but before you eat them purge them in cold water for > 30 minutes! |
