Are you sure there isn't anything of importance to post about?

Such as Fukushima perhaps? Or anything at all?

Are you well versed in the Fukushima as well?

Or just in entertainment?

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
So we are definitely on a level above simple greed for land and lumbermills, right?

We have possible aliens, spiritual-demons, billionaires-involved-in-supernatural-portal-technology, black-lodges-of-the-font-of-evil-and-darkness. Along the way we see typical mortal cruelty and murder of-course. But it looks like Agent Cooper's investigation has led him into some limbo, timelessness, and mind-bending-realities that will test his existential-mettle. I mean he started the investigation due to Teresa Banks and Laura Palmer's deaths. But somehow all these other things are involved. Who the hell is Judy? Judy Garland with the red shoes? What does the Buenos Aires black box have to do with anything? What's a blue rose and what were purple ones doing in House Harkonnen in Dune?

What is in Buckhorn, SD that has any pertinence to anything?

And how is Albert slimy? He made a mistake, right? He didn't tell on the Columbia guy on purpose.

What is the weird couple in the transam snorting coke and going to a job interview doing?

Is it all just arty bullshit done for kicks with no rhyme or reason?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73898434

In Fire Walk with Me, Phillip Jeffries disappeared from and re-emerged in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He mentions a Judy and receiving a letter from a young lady, which could have been her. He found something where she lived but when he appeared in the FBI HQ after he'd been missing he said he didn't want to talk about her.

Blue Rose is a code word for a case that is unexplained or may have supernatural/alien ties, perhaps even relating to Project Blue Book.

It appears that Major Garland Briggs' body is in Buckhorn, SD with Dougie's wedding ring found during the autopsy. We'll soon find out more about that, as the Air Force has dispatched someone to investigate.

The "weird couple" (Shelly's daughter Becky and Steven, the guy being interviewed by Mike Nelson earlier in the episode) remind me a lot of Laura and Bobby 25 years ago, coke and all.
 Quoting: Sweetroll Bandit

I read that Judy was to be a 'prequel' story involving Agent Jefferies, and the thought was that July was Josie Packard's sister.

The story, if I am remembering this right, was that only a portion of Judy's sister remained, and that the 'proof' that this referenced Josie was when Josie's face is seen trapped on the night table drawer knob in the room where she disappears at the Great Northern Hotel. There is also a story that the shadowy figure we saw running/moving behind the curtains in the Waiting Room was the other part of Josie, that did cross over.
 Quoting: esoteric Morgan

Indeed, the writers initially intended Judy to be Josie's sister and went through many versions of the character before finally scrapping the idea. We keep hearing references to her though. Phillip Jeffries mentions her and even a monkey says her name in Fire Walk with Me.

I'm also curious about the images and flashes Coop is getting, pointing him to the right slot machines in the casino and revealing liars in Dougie's workplace.

And did anyone think the statue outside his office resembled Sheriff Harry S. Truman? I believe he bought new boots from Phillip Michael Gerard/MIKE who was posing as a shoe salesman. Is this why he was obsessed with the statue, specifically its shoes?

Other random things noticed...

The "worrier" in the beginning of the episode talking to the two hit men who are after Dougie sends "Argent 2" to the black box device in Argentina, which lights up and beeps twice.

Evil Coop appears to send a message to this box as well during his phone call in jail when he inputs the code into the phone and says "the cow jumped over the moon." The box lights up and beeps twice yet again before shrinking.

These people are all working together?

Who is Mr. Strawberry? The Warden appears to think the name is of significance.

Evil Coop doesn't seem to need to eat or sleep, and his face morphs and distorts into BOB's in the mirror in his cell when he says "You're still with me. That's good."

Why is Dougie/Coop crying when he looks at Sonny Jim?

Janey E tells Dougie/Coop to call the men they owe money to when he gets to work, but we never see him make that call.

Later when he's done at work it's getting very dark, and since he doesn't have his car we have to assume Janey E was going to be picking him up. Yet she is nowhere to be found. Have the men they owe money to caught up to them?

She also mentions that Dougie has had "episodes" of acting strange before.

I love that Dr. Jacoby is doing a conspiracy themed broadcast, advertisements and all. Everyone was so curious what the gold shovels were and it turns out he's selling them as Dr. Amp's Gold Shit-Digging Shovels for $29.99.

Major Garland Brigg's prints have appeared 16 times in 25 years.

Tammy noticed an anomaly in Cooper's prints when compared to Evil Cooper's. She looked very concerned.

Certainly plausible. The ring finger print did look mirrored. Which is interesting, considering that's usually where the jade Owl Cave ring is when people wear it, the ring finger of the left hand. Except MIKE, who wore it on his little finger of his right hand for obvious reasons.

Speaking of fingerprints...I'm beginning to wonder if any remains were recovered in the fire Major Briggs supposedly perished in. Or is it more likely that Evil Cooper has been using him to access certain information? After all, Brigg's fingerprints have appeared 16 times since his "death" 25 years ago, and he had a very high security clearance given the nature of his occupation. And now we have a clearly non-burnt corpse that they are identifying as his.

This wouldn't be the first time a death was faked and fire used as a cover. Catherine did the same thing when the mill was burnt down, and her brother Andrew faked his in an explosion as well.

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Five episodes in, my honest opinion is, if anyone but David Lynch makes this series as he is doing it, it would be laughed at and universally called boring and awful.

That said, I get why Lynch gets the leeway he does.....the funny thing is, Lynch's most commercially successful endeavor by far was Twin Peaks first season, because it was basically mainstream and followed a coherent story was well paced, while inserting moments of Lunch's strangness in palatable chunks.

I am highly interested in seeing where he goes with this revival, and especially in seeing Cooper's story. I find it pretty daring that Lynch has decided to make this third season so tediously paced and scattershot, like most of his films. I know alot of die hard Twin Peak fans hate it.

Just out of curiosity, why do you "love that Dr. Jacoby is doing a conspiracy themed broadcast, advertisements and all", when it's intended to mock people just like all of us here, on GLP?

(For the record, Mark Frost, co-writer of Twin Peaks, has repeatedly expressed his hatred of "conspiracy theorists" on his personal Twitter account - even going so far as to Retweet a post about wanting to literally punch conspiracy theorists in the face, a while back. You really should read through his Tweets, if you haven't already.)

There is actually a great deal of "Anti-Truth" programming hidden within the series. I'm surprised that so many people here are completely blind to that fact, and that they're being more sycophantic than analytical, when viewing the series.

Because everyone (including myself) was over-analyzing those silly gold shovels wondering if they had this deep meaning. I found it to be funny that it ended up being something so trivial and silly.

If anything I think it was mocking other sites and over-enthusiastic radio show hosts who are always trying to push their own agendas and sell some sort of merchandise, not GLP.

And I was also very happy to see Nadine listening to the broadcast! Was hoping to see her soon.

(For the record, I don't read anyone's Tweets or what they share on FB or anything like that, because I detest most social media.)

There's a lot hidden in the series and if you don't care for it then you don't have to watch it, simple as that. I enjoy the mystery and mythology behind it all.

In case you missed it, there are 7 pages before this one where we are indeed analyzing the series. It isn't perfect and we're not pretending it is, but it is definitely interesting!

I'm sorry you felt the need to nitpick that one section from my post and take it out of context instead of actually contributing to the thread. Thanks for bumping though! grouphug

David Lynch himself recommends at the very least watching Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, which is the prequel movie to the series.

But as BEAST and others have pointed out it's definitely beneficial to watch the first two seasons and the movie to get a full understanding, otherwise you might be a little lost with some of the details.

I might be cheating myself when I say this next part. I don't see the original series anymore on the Showtime section. So that being said, I'm watching this series on its own. If the series comes back up or they have a gigantic TP marathon by the time the last 'episode' airs, maybe I can catch up on all the stuff I've missed.

So far I'm enjoying the series and I'm happy to see somebody started a thread to analyze the stuff playing out.

You aren't actually analyzing it, though.

That's the whole problem.

This is a conspiracy forum, but everyone in this thread seems so hung up on which character is doing what (and so on and so forth) that you're missing the most important thing: Films and television shows put a person in a hypnotic state - one in which imagery, ideas, and other "programming" may be easily implanted. These things become very deeply embedded in that viewer's mind, often without their conscious knowledge or consent.

However, these things still have a long-lasting effect on the person's subconscious processing and behaviors.

Thus, it is extremely important that people be cautious about what it is that they view, and allow into their minds. Especially when it comes to shows like "Twin Peaks".

This is a conspiracy forum, and my comment specifically pertains to the topic of conspiracies and "Twin Peaks". How is that not "actually contributing to the thread"?

You just don't seem to get it, at all. You certainly wouldn't be so flippant and sarcastic, if you did. You would also realize that I didn't take your comment out of context, at all.

It isn't about "not caring for it", either. I'm telling you, I know for a concrete fact that there are some sinister things involved in all of this. I worked in Hollywood for many years, and there is much more to the dark imagery and messages than what you are comprehending.

It's quite sad that you won't even take a moment to investigate things yourself, too. This isn't about your feelings about social media - it's about knowing what you're exposing your brain to. Nowadays, though, it seems people are more concerned about what they put in their physical bodies than what they allow into their minds.

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks returned to television on Sunday, May 21st. This thread is for those that are interested in discussing the series - what happened in the past on the show and the prequel movie, what is happening in the current new season, and thoughts about what it all might mean and what may be coming in the end.

As a HUGE fan of the original series - I was even present for some of the filming of the Fire Walk With Me movie - I am more than just a little thrilled with the best show EVER on television's return. Last night's premiere was spectacular.

IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN!

I am well versed in Twin Peaks for those that wish to have a serious discussion about any and all aspects of the show. I can answer most questions or can guide you to a better understanding of the show if you want. Or we can just discuss and debate some of the many things which - for now, anyways - have no solid answers.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75028059

You are totally entitled to your opinion of course, and I do agree with some of what you're saying. hf

You don't have to feel sad for me at all. I'd actually be interested in hearing more of your thoughts on the show and the programming that you're seeing in it, especially if you're an insider! That's certainly intriguing and something I'm sure others would like to discuss as well.

Believe me, I know this isn't about how I feel about social media. wink I was merely responding to your comment about Tweets made by writers for the show.

I didn't mean to be flippant and sarcastic, just trying to respond in a positive way instead of getting aggressive like some people can. Again, sorry you took something I said the wrong way. It can happen, especially between strangers on a forum. :)

Re: TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN - Discuss the past, present and future of all things Twin Peaks
With Part 5 now behind us, let's see what everybody's talking about...

I love how Morley cigarettes made an appearance on the episode tonight. applause
 Quoting: Sweetroll Bandit

I saw it too! I love this show. I have to watch each episode multiple times. Anybody would, who is interested.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22373790

You definitely have to watch them more than once. I've found 3-4 times each works for me in order to grab most everything and move on (though the minute I do I read about something I missed).

The Morley's are interesting. They were, of course, the Cigarette Smoking Man's cigarette of choice in The X-Files and have been used countless times in Hollywood productions - the furthest back being probably Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. They are a "fake brand" made by Studio Graphics and used by Independent Studio Services (the company that produces most of the props for Twin Peaks).

I find it interesting that Lynch would so obviously use a fake brand of cigarettes. I guess I'm just a little skeptical that everything that we're seeing is actually real. But assuming that it is, the person that passed the box of Morley's with the payoff money to Deputy Chad is listed as Richard Horne. So who is he? Did Ben father another son while we were gone? Doubtful since he seems to have straightened up (almost TOO much) over the years. Is it Jerry's kid? That would make sense since he seems very odd and does kinda look like him. But my guess is that he's Audrey's kid from when (I'm guessing) she got knocked up by John Justice Wheeler at the end of Season 2. Regardless, could this be the "Richard" that The Giant (or ???????) mentioned in Part 1?

ANOTHER GUESS - I forgot one of my guesses in my last post. Luckily, it didn't matter since nothing has been exposed yet. We learned in The Secret History Of Twin Peaks that Audrey Horne survived the bank explosion at the end of Season 2, but that she WAS wounded. And that Ben spent a lot of time at her bedside crying. I'm thinking that beautiful Audrey is now hideously disfigured. Anyone know if the makeup artist from The Elephant Man is on the Twin Peaks payroll?

I'll take your last question first - no. It's a very convoluted and intelligent plot, but certainly not just "arty bullshit done for kicks with no rhyme or reason". No offense, but it sounds like you're watching the show, but not really getting it.

And that's on YOU, not Lynch. And certainly not us. Most of us aren't confused on your questions at all.

If you really don't understand the significance of the blue rose, Judy, or Buenos Aires I suggest that you go back and rewatch the series or, at least, the Fire Walk With Me movie and The Missing Pieces scenes. We'll get more into a discussion of Judy at the end of this message.

Do you even understand WHO the couple in the car is? If not, I suggest going back and rewatching the episode again. Because it was pretty clear.

And yes, Albert is getting slimy. I stand by my statement. He made some deal with Cooper and Jeffries and didn't let Cole know about it. And it resulted in at least one death. Far from being just a "mistake", IMHO.

And ANYONE watching should know how Buckhorn pertains to the current storyline. That's where Evil Cooper was currently conducting his business, where the unidentified body being covered up by military intelligence was found, where Evil Cooper was picked up by the Highway Patrol, etc.

You can't just idly watch Twin Peaks or you will miss what's really going on. It's designed for very deep thinking and not like any other show ever on television.

Thanks for helping out with the explanations. We will discuss Judy more in depth at the end of this message.

The wedding ring in the body bothers me a LOT. Is there a chance that it is NOT Dougie Jones' wedding ring, but Colonel Dougie Milford's instead? Was Janey-E one of Colonel Dougie Milford's previous wives? That would at least make some sense if it does indeed end up being Major Briggs' body that it was found in.

I hadn't thought about it (I've only watched Part 5 twice, so far, and it really does take multiple viewings to even begin to get everything), but DAMN! Good observation. It reminded me of them almost TOO much (with tragedy right around the corner, perhaps?).

This is exactly why I'm not quite ready to write thoughts yet.

Well...There's a theme or three that confuses me:

Dougie Jones goes missing for three days. When first seen, he is wearing the green jade Owl Cave ring...and is with a prostitute curiously named Jade, who does not appear to be anything but a normal gal.

The Ring found in Major Briggs' body appears to be Dougie's wedding ring from Janey E.

This seems to insinuate that the meeting Evil Coop refers to between Major Briggs and the Good/Evil Agent Jefferies was part of Evil Coop's plot to trade our Coop for Dougie.

(It also insinuates that a version of both Briggs and Jefferies were still 'alive' and operating on terra firma, at least until three days ago.)

However, it's a bit incomprehensible to believe that Major Briggs would be part of an evil plot to hurt Dale. I think he must swallow Dougie's ring to try to thwart the plan, realizing it was a scheme to prevent Evil Coop from returning to the Black Lodge.

Coop had a similar band ring that the Giant (??????) took from Coop as he lay bleeding out on the floor after being shot. It was returned to Coop from the 'void' the moment after he realized who it was that killed Laura Palmer.

Could Dale's ring have been part of the plan that Major Briggs thought would bring Coop back. Instead he sees it's not Dale's, swallows it, and gets killed for it.

Remember that Ruth's neighbor says she has not seen Ruth for 3 days...the same length of time Dougie was 'missing'. She's obviously part of a plot that spans from Las Vegas to North Dakota...and beyond, both literally and figuratively. And, Argentina...if you figure in that woman who becomes frantic when finding out that Dougie is still alive in Las Vegas, which seems to indicate that Dougie's $50,000 debt is much more involved than than it appears on the surface.

Could that angle have been an effort to eliminate Dougie here, so that Evil Coop's plan to stay is thwarted? Is there more than one faction trying to insure Dale Cooper returns, or, Evil Coop gets sent back?

We have WORLDS of trouble in play here! Of course, none of this makes sense yet because we're only starting out.

We'll eventually get more clues at how Dougie was created in the first place, well before the 1989 events in Twin Peaks ever unfolded, or, for at least as long as he and Janey are married. Every now and then we hear of our leaders being clones. This either means that there's a way to accelerate human aging, or, time is really happening all at once, and this Coop version was pulled from another dimension into this one within the past 25 years, specifically for this one purpose.

One thing interesting about recalling Agent Cooper's ring is that it brings up the ongoing mystery of WHY Josie Packard shot Agent Cooper in the first place, which makes no sense, unless there's an oriental spin spinning around in the void here.

Now we've seen another mysterious Asian woman, this time at the black cube, who appears to be trying to help Cooper escape, then purposely electrocutes herself before falling dead into the void of space. The Giant told Coop that things must not be said, and just like Laura in the Waiting Room, this woman attempts to speak to Coop...and

What any of this has to do with anything, if anything, is TBD.
 Quoting: esoteric Morgan

Yes, to say that it's a bit confusing would be a grand understatement. But isn't that exactly why we're all tuned in? To try and figure out what it all means?

The meeting discussed was between the Evil Cooper and the Major. NOT the Good/Evil Jeffries and the Major. I agree that the Major would never deliberately harm Agent Cooper or help anyone else in doing so.

The three days has been bothering me as well. And remember, the ring was the ONLY thing in the body's stomach - it hadn't eaten for days. And the minute we learn this, it cuts to Evil Cooper in prison throwing out his prison dinner.

The "worrier" on the phone - Lorraine - certainly proves that Dougie's debt (and the fact that he is still alive) is a way bigger problem than the $50,000 he supposedly owes since she immediately sends a message directly to the weird box in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

As far as clones are concerned, it is said that it takes anywhere from 24 hours to up to two years to grow a full grown clone of somebody. I'd say that that idea is NOT out of the question here since we have had too many Coopers running around and now we have a VERY active dead Major Briggs.

Ahhh...Josie. I'll leave that for now until we get to talkin' about Judy in a bit.

As for the mysterious blind seer Asian woman in Limboland - Naido - could we have possibly finally seen the magician of the infamous poem? I'm sure that she longed to see through those skin flaps...

Thru the darkness
of Future Past
the magician longs to see
one chants out

I read that Judy was to be a 'prequel' story involving Agent Jefferies, and the thought was that July was Josie Packard's sister.

The story, if I am remembering this right, was that only a portion of Judy's sister remained, and that the 'proof' that this referenced Josie was when Josie's face is seen trapped on the night table drawer knob in the room where she disappears at the Great Northern Hotel. There is also a story that the shadowy figure we saw running/moving behind the curtains in the Waiting Room was the other part of Josie, that did cross over.
 Quoting: esoteric Morgan

That's part of the story. I'll try and fill in some of the gaps with what I know below.

I'm well versed about a LOT of things - Fukushima included. But this is a Twin Peaks thread. Some of us like to do other things besides just sit and speculate and yak about the same crap over and over again for years like you apparently to like to do. So why don't you go and start yourself the 2,486th thread about Fukushima and leave the adults to discuss the deep plot lines on the greatest television show ever made (which, by the way, was discussing conspiracy theories and ecological threats LONG before this forum was ever started).

Here, have a meme...

 Quoting: Copernica the Proud American

Exactly!

 Quoting: Sweetroll Bandit

Let's talk about that for a second. The final cut of Fire Walk With Me was pruned down to what Lynch considered just the essential story. By doing so, a lot of beloved character's scenes fell to the cutting room floor. And the scene with Agent Phillip Jeffries was trimmed WAY down (see The Missing Pieces for a fuller version). Yet, he STILL mentions Judy AND the last piece of dialogue spoken in the final cut of the movie is the monkey saying Judy. So it must have been important, right?

The "images and flashes" Dougie Cooper is getting remind me a LOT of a time when I was in a medical coma in the hospital. I thought that I was inside some kind of video game and there were things that I had to do to progress through what I thought was happening to me (it wasn't - I was just in my hospital room about 99% knocked out). If I didn't do things correctly, the whole last day would start repeating itself. And there were symbols here and there that guided me. So all of this Dougie Cooper stuff is reminding me of all of that a LOT. It seems real - yet too surreal to be real.

I would have never thought of Harry S. Truman for the statue, but your shoe idea is very interesting. Something definitely has him interested in those shoes. Now, if I had to say who that statue reminded ME of when I first saw it, that would be Phillip Jeffries in some cowboy gear...

 Quoting: Sweetroll Bandit

It appears that they are indeed all working together. There may even be multiples of some of them. I couldn't tell you. But was the "worrier" Hastings' secretary with the coordinates that Cooper needed so badly?

I'm guessing that Mr. Strawberry is the warden's dog and Evil Cooper was letting him know that he knew about him as a warning.

Dougie Cooper is crying because Sonny Jim looks depressed and out of all of the BS in this manufactured Dougie Jones world that our Agent Cooper is having to endure, I believe that Sunny Jim IS really his son.

Dougie Cooper doesn't call the men like his wife told him to because he doesn't remember being told to do so and doesn't know the phone number anyways. Remember, our Dougie Cooper needs help when he gets the urge to urinate. And yes, what about those "episodes" that Janey-E mentioned? I hope we learn more about those soon. But I don't think that the men caught up to Janey-E. I think she just blew Dougie Cooper off and figured he could get a ride home from work. Maybe from his good buddy Tony Sinclair.

I love Dr. Jacoby's conspiracy broadcast as well. It fits him. He was always pretty anti-establishment, wasn't he? And he seems to have a pretty devoted following among his old friends in Twin Peaks. I wonder what happens when you send money to that address? Who wants to try it?

We need to know more about how Briggs' fingerprints were found the other 15 times. And Tammy SHOULD be concerned. She's on her way to possibly meeting up with her own doppelgänger if she isn't careful.

Tammy noticed an anomaly in Cooper's prints when compared to Evil Cooper's. She looked very concerned.
 Quoting: Sweetroll Bandit

Flipped fingerprints?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 59048957

They are reversed. The fingerprints and the slip of the backwards "yrev" when Evil Cooper was talking to Cole, along with the obvious Bonding With BOB moment in the mirror during Part 5 lets us know that BOB is indeed alive and well and living inside the Evil Cooper that is sitting in a federal prison in South Dakota.

 Quoting: Sweetroll Bandit

Yes, Briggs' fingerprints showing up sixteen times in law enforcement searches over the last twenty five years is VERY disturbing. And we DO have to now consider that the Major didn't vanish in the fire after all - like we have been led to believe - but was kidnapped and used by Evil Cooper instead. Meaning that it is becoming more plausible that Briggs was finally killed after all of these years and his body dumped with Ruth Davenport's in Buckhorn, South Dakota.

Tammy noticed an anomaly in Cooper's prints when compared to Evil Cooper's. She looked very concerned.
 Quoting: Sweetroll Bandit

Flipped fingerprints?

That's what I was thinkin, dawg!

And that Tammy, hoowee she's got some sex appeal!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22373790

I'd agree with that. But she is an odd one.

Anyways, let's talk about Judy...

JUDY (AND JOSIE)

Let's start with the monkey. The monkey doesn't actually appear in either the pre-release or the final draft of the Fire Walk With Me script. It was added at the last minute by Lynch.

The earliest draft of the script that I have ever laid my hands on is dated July 3rd, 1991. Phillip Jeffries first appears in a Buenos Aires hotel where the head clerk hands him a note from a "young lady". Soon after that, Jeffries appears in Cole's office in Philadelphia where he tells the assembled agents he's "not gonna talk about Judy." Jeffries says, "I want to tell you everything, but I don't have a lot to go on. But I'll tell you one thing: Judy is positive about this". Then Jeffries drops a fascinating detail, "Her sister's there, too. At least part of her".

In Wrapped In Plastic magazine #58, writer Robert Engels said, "The thing behind Judy has to do with where Phillip Jeffries came from. He was down there in Buenos Aires and that's where Judy is. I think Josie is there, and I think Windom Earle is there. It's this idea that there are these portals around the world, and Phillip Jeffries had one hell of a trip to Buenos Aires and back! He really doesn't want to talk about Judy because that reminds him of whatever happened to him. It's really as simple as that. There was a thing that was going to happen with Josie and Windom and Judy. In our original planning of the prequel, there is a whole other section about all this. A whole other set of mythology that was going to be around Judy and Josie and where Windom Earle ended up". When asked if Josie could be Judy's sister, Engels replied, "Yes. Yes, I think that is true".

In the shooting script that you can find online - dated August 8th 1991 - Jeffries still receives a note from the head clerk who says a "young lady" left it and Jeffries also tells Cole that "Judy is positive about this." But he makes no reference to Judy's sister. Instead, in this script, he says he "found something in Seattle at Judy's."

At a Twin Peaks Festival in Seattle in the early 90's, Frank Silva - who played BOB - was asked about BOB's relationship with Josie and said, "He took her away to the Red Room, I think basically..." You could have heard a pin drop. We were all shocked. Then he said, "If you notice, in the Red Room you do see Josie's body. You don't see her face, but you see her body sticking out of the Red Room curtains. In the series Joan Chen wasn't available at the time, so we had to get around that. There was a double of Joan Chen, but you just saw the body and her head was outside the Red Room. If you look in the Red Room, you see Josie's body, the last outfit that she had on, you'll see that body with that outfit. And her head is sticking outside the red wall."

And then there's the Open Letter To David Lynch by Joan Chen (in character as Josie Packard) trying to get back on the new show which tells us once and for all that Judy was Josie's twin sister.
